Testimonials

Ceri carried out a gender audit of a complicated set of programmes for UN Women in Iraq. That she was willing to carry out security training and come to Baghdad in order to fully carry out this assignment is a testament to her commitment and integrity. She adapted imaginatively to a situation on the ground that was probably different to what she imagined and provided a source of professional support for a number of people with whom she worked who turned to her for independent advice. She produced well-written work on an agreed schedule and was willing to adapt to new demands when required. She was also a pleasure to work with. —  Frances Guy

Ceri is an incredibly knowledgeable individual on issues of gender equality and always works with integrity and reliability. One thing that I have always appreciated about Ceri has been her ability to see things through to the end. She is someone that I would work with anytime and I would not hesitate to. — Amanda Khozi Mukwashi

Ceri is one of the most professional people I have ever worked with. She is extremely intelligent and committed, she always delivers on promises and always to the highest possible standard... and she is great fun to work with. — Lis Martin

Ceri is always highly professional and delivers whatever is asked of her to a high standard. She has extensive expertise in all issues relating to women's human rights and gender equality. She brings passion and drive to her work and is great to work with. — Sue Turrell

Ceri has the rare ability to work extremely detail oriented but at the same time to never lose the overview and the bigger picture. Also, she has the great combination of clarity in her own opinion / standpoint and an honestly participatory approach that is free from imposing own values on others. She is committed and hard working, and she has profound knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methods. She has a friendly personality and worked very well with colleagues even under extremely stressful conditions. — Bele Grau

Ceri facilitated a gender review of the Knowledge Services department at IDS. She guided an internal gender review group, some of whom initially had little prior knowledge on the subject, and who learned a lot from the process. Her expert knowledge in this area was a great asset, as was her experience of mainstreaming in other organisations. Her patience and flexibility were much appreciated. We hope to be able to work with Ceri again in the future. — Jenny Birchall

It's always great working with Ceri - highly efficient, very capable and full of enthusiasm for the cause. — Kathryn Lockett

Ceri did an excellent job at facilitating and leading our workshop with partner organisations from Bangladesh, Cambodia, Nepal, Pakistan, and Uganda. Without her, we would not have been able to articulate the first joint theory of change on acid and burns violence and develop a regional programme on acid violence in south Asia. ASTI (Acid Survivors Trust International) benefited greatly from Ceri’s incredible attention to detail, dedication to gender equality, and expertise. We look forward to working with her again on future programmes. — Erin Bourgois
